PrimaLine Marine ' the complete range of additives

ELOS PrimaLine Marine 

01 Alkali

Alkali is a concentrated, ionically balanced blend of alkaline compounds designed to restore and maintain the correct "Alkaline Balance" to levels found in natural seawater. It includes Calcium as well as Magnesium and Strontium, in amounts proportionate to the average utilization ratios, thus allowing to keep the correct level of these two important elements while integrating Calcium to the desired value. Used in combination with Prima Carbonates, it permits the aquarist to easily maintain calcium and alkalinity levels without disruption to the ionic balance of the Aquarium water. Combine with Prima Carbonates to correct Calcium and Alkalinity levels. This combination will supply the highest quality ‘Two-part system’. By adding Prima Elements, Alkali completes the addition of ‘TRACE ELEMENTS’ in the Balling Method (1:2 ratio). 

Dosage: Add 10 ml per 200 ltrs (53 US gal) twice a week to increase the level of Ca, Mg, Sr respectively by 7,5 / 0,38 / 0.008 mg/lt (in RO water).

02 Elements

Elements is a concentrated, blend of Iodine, Bromine, Fluorine, Lithium, Molybdenum, Vanadium and Minor Trace Elements designed to restore and maintain the correct "Iodine Levels" as well as to replenish Trace elements normally depleted by utilization, precipitation and oxidation. Many marine aquariums lack this element which cannot be replaced by simple water changes. In combination with Prima Alkali, it is the BASIC ADDITIVE that will satisfy 90% of the needs of an average marine aquarium full of life. Combined with Prima Alkali, Elements will provide the main source of ‘TRACE ELEMENTS’, in the Balling Method. 

Dosage: Add 10 ml per 100 ltrs (26.4 US gal) twice a week to increase Iodine level by 0,05 mg/lt (in RO water). Combine with Prima Alkali (2:1 ratio) to complete the Trace Element addition in the Balling Method.

03 Carbonates

Prima Carbonates is a specially formulated blend of carbonates, borates and bicarbonate salts designed for a DOUBLE EFFECT; it RESTORES the alkalinity and IMPROVES the buffer capacity of the Aquarium’s water. In contrast to many basic products available on the market, Prima Carbonates is not just a mix of borate and carbonate, but a blend of pure, slow-release salts able to restore as well as to improve the buffer capacity. Its complex formula is designed to mix clear with no cloudiness or precipitation. Combine with Prima Alkali to correct Calcium and Alkalinity levels for the highest quality ’Two-part system’. 

Dosage: Add 10 ml per 100 ltrs (26.4 US gal) of R.O. water, this will increase the level by 1° KH.

04 Combi Magnesium

Based on an organic complex of Magnesium, it delivers a much higher bio-availability than an ionic formula, thus improving its assimilation by the corals, providing a rich source of metabolic energy to help maintain corals in peak condition. Prima Combi-mg may be used alone or in combination with Prima Alkali to maintain magnesium at the proper level, as it is not intended to increase the magnesium level. If magnesium becomes seriously depleted one should either perform a water change or use an ionic magnesium supplement, such as ELOS Expert Magnesium, to restore to the natural level as found in NSW. Part of our Prima Line of Integrators, Prima Combi-mg is designed to be simple to use, but, also very precise to dose. Use EXTRA Mg to restore levels of Magnesium. 

Dosage: Add 10 ml per 100 ltrs (26.4 US gal) twice a week to increase Magnesium level by 5 mg/lt (in RO water).

05 Combi Calcium  

Based on an organic complex of Calcium, it delivers a much higher bio-availability than an ionic formula, thus improving its assimilation by the corals, providing a rich source of metabolic energy and to help maintain corals in peak condition. Prima Combi-ca may be used in combination with Prima Alkali to maintain calcium at the proper level, but it is not intended to increase the calcium level, but to improve its assimilation by the corals. If calcium becomes seriously depleted one should either perform a water change or use an ionic calcium supplement, such as ELOS Expert Calcium, to restore to the natural levels as found in NSW. Part of our Prima Line of Integrators, Prima Combi-ca is designed to be simple to use, but also, very precise to dose. Use EXTRA Ca to restore levels of Calcium.

06 Integra

Solution of Organic Potassium. In aquariums where zeolite-based filtration is implemented, the concentration of Potassium often becomes a limiting factor. Integra is a highly bio-available additive of Potassium designed to restore the level of this major NSW element. Use Aqua Test Potassium to control the level of potassium and adjust its level to 380-410 mg/lt.

Dosage: Add 10 ml per 100 ltrs (26.4 US gal) twice a week to increase Potassium level by 2 mg/lt (in RO water).

General Hardness Buffer

Water plant propagation and fish keeping require not only the correct level of alkalinity (kH), but also a perfect balance of major salts (TDS). Deficiencies of Calcium and Magnesium in (very) soft water (1º-3º) will inhibit the plants' ability to absorb other nutrients, resulting in an extreme lack of nutrients, even though they exist in the water. ELOS RIGENERA is a specially formulated mixture of soluble solids, developed to restore and maintain the correct level of General Hardness (GH). 

Suggestions: do not exceed 1° GH increase per 12 hours. Thereafter, use as required to maintain GH level. 

Dosage: 1 ml in 10 ltrs (2,6 gals) of RO water will increase general hardness by 1° GH. 

Use: Shake well before use, then mix dose in at least one cup of freshwater before adding directly to the aquarium.

Organic Carbon liquid fertilizer 

CarboClean is an organic carbon liquid fertiliser for low and high demanding planted aquariums. Its unique formula in combination with ELOS PrimaLine or Expertline liquid fertilisers, promotes faster growth and natural strength of aquarium plants and at the same time acting efficiently against algae.

Used regularly and after partial water changes, it will replenish CO2 levels in the water column, providing a plant's resistibility against algae; stimulates growth and contributes to a faster growth rate in aquatic plants. It can be used with or without CO2 fertilization.

In low demanding planted aquariums use 5ml for each 50ltrs of water after partial water changes and 5ml for every 25ltrs twice a week in high densely planted aquariums. Better results are obtained when used once a week in combination with AquaZero and AquaUno.

Planta2 – Periodic liquid fertilizer

Built from the ELOS ExpertLine liquid fertilizer range, Planta2 is a nutritional complement for Planta1. The blended formula permits a balanced dose of the required nutrients absorbed by plants, and without individual nutrient overdosing, that in most cases are responsible for algae appearance. Its unique blend of Potassium, Phosphorous and Nitrogen helps to establish the nutritional balance of a planted aquarium and encourages plant growth stimulating the expansion of their leaves and roots. Due to its complex formula, it was designed for Small and Medium aquariums, where high light and CO2 are used. 

    

Dose: 
On periodic water changes add 10ml for every 20ltrs of new water and double the quantities in densely planted aquariums. Suggestion: Better results will be obtained by using Bottom Mineral and ELOS Soils.
