PrimaLine Liquid fertilizer ' Planta2

Planta2 – Periodic liquid fertilizer

Built from the ELOS ExpertLine liquid fertilizer range, Planta2 is a nutritional complement for Planta1. The blended formula permits a balanced dose of the required nutrients absorbed by plants, and without individual nutrient overdosing, that in most cases are responsible for algae appearance. Its unique blend of Potassium, Phosphorous and Nitrogen helps to establish the nutritional balance of a planted aquarium and encourages plant growth stimulating the expansion of their leaves and roots. Due to its complex formula, it was designed for Small and Medium aquariums, where high light and CO2 are used. 

    

Dose: 
On periodic water changes add 10ml for every 20ltrs of new water and double the quantities in densely planted aquariums. Suggestion: Better results will be obtained by using Bottom Mineral and ELOS Soils.

Note: Always monitor the CO2 visual test and, if necessary, make the needed adjustments to the CO2 reducer. Please keep in mind: The KH-level of your tap water influences the need for CO2. Each aquarium has its own demand. 

Attention: If the CO2 supply is controlled manually, the ELOS Visual test must be installed to allow for a visual monitoring. If this monitoring is not done, uncontrolled modifications of CO2 and pH-level can bring up bad or even dangerous situations to the inhabitants of your aquarium. Therefore we suggest the use of ELOS Visual even for semi or fully automatic systems to offer additional control and security.

Terra Black and Brown soil 

Elos Natural soils are collected from nature and not manufactured, this gives a special touch of quality when used in the aquarium, due to its porosity, it is excellent for bacteria fixation and root expansion without asphyxiating plant propagation.

 

ELOS Natural soils are ammonia free! It is not harmful to fishes or invertebrates, and its properties will filter the water, turning it crystal clear and balance general hardness for better absorption of nutrients from plants. Rich in micro and macro elements, it can be used as standalone soil in low demanding planted aquariums. 

For better results in high demanding planted Aquariums, we suggest the use of a Celsio heating cable, TerraZero, AquaUno powder and Bottom mineral below the natural soil.

Elos E-style chamber a great addition for external filters, media reactors

The Elos E-style chamber is a new product providing a compact way to get water back-and-forth between the main aquarium and your external filters or media reactors. Anyone using a canister filter or standalone media reactor knows the pain of the large, swooping bends of the plumbing pipes or getting algae growth in the bends where it is hardest to clean and the Elos E-style chamber eliminates both of those. Only available in Japan at the moment, the simple, black acrylic box sits nicely on your aquarium and routes the water to eliminate the need for the bulking transitions. Plus the black acrylic blocks the light from growing algae in tough spots to clean.

Two versions are available. One with a strainer sponge and another without. Both versions of the Elos E-style chamber are available in different sizes to accommodate different thickness of glass along with length of strainer tube and size of the 90-degree “jet pipe” return to fit different sized aquariums.

Christmas Promo

Osmocontroller Digital was improved

Osmocontroller Digital is an automatic controller for water's refill, that permits us to keep the level of the water inside of the aquarium with no moving parts patent pending sensor. The prior version of the probe was 316 stainless and particles would collect on the surface of the probe that would rust. While this is not a problem and the probe is not corroding, we decided to improve and cover the stainless probe with a Teflon™ coating. The Teflon™ coated probe is available as a replacement spare part from your Elos dealer.

Elos temporarily suspend the sale of Terra SMALL

ELOS Terra is a Natural product that is found in nature, sterilized and then enriched with microand macro elements that enhance its characteristics. It is then sieved by Elos in order to get two sizes: Small and Medium.

Unfortunately, it is now about a year that the raw material coming from nature presents an almost constant grain size, which allows us to select a very limited amount of fine-grained (Terra SMALL).
For this reason, Elos is compelled to temporarily suspend the sale of Terra SMALL.

In the meanwhile Elos suggests alternatively to use the new TERRA Black that features similar organic/chemical characteristic and have a fine grain size, very close to the ELOS Terra Small.
