About ELOS Fish food

Most people choose fish food by price or size, overlooking the composition and whether or not it is good for their fishes.

With no polyphosphates, ELOS provides us a fish food rich in vitamins, as conserved through the aluminium packaging, the food is able to be kept for an extended period without loss of properties.

Vitamins enhance the colour of our fishes and keeps them healthy. The practice of supplying extra vitamins to the aquarium during the night - in an attempt to avoid the oxidation that would occur if added during the day - is superfluous. With ELOS food, the vitamins are supplied through the food so that absorption by the fishes is immediate and the best results are achieved.

When fishes in a planted aquarium are fed - even when they are fed with rubbish food - the polyphosphates can be easily assimilated for the plants. However in a marine or low-demand planted aquarium, often resins are needed to remove phosphates from the water to achieve a balanced aquarium and to avoid algae.
